This is the home page of the legendary Canadian broadcaster Paul Reid.

Known for his rich and textured voice Paul Reid was regarded as a consummate professional.

Whether he was interviewing a celebrity, talking about music, or events of the day, Paul was loved by thousands of listeners across Canada but particularly in Montreal where he spent most of his career. His signature work was reading poetry. Night after night listeners tuned in to let Paul lull away their daily cares with music and his unique broadcasting personality.

Paul was classified as the best one-on-one communicator in radio. He had the unique gift of being able to make a listener feel that he or she was the only one in the room with him.

Paul passed away in 1983, but he left us a legacy of work which is still in demand today. Most notable of these is “A Paul Reid Christmas”. It is still the most requested show on CJAD in Montreal and can be heard in many Canadian cities during the Christmas season.
